Monthly Event

A new monthly Games and Trivia Social hosted by SPEARHEAD L.D.S.C. at
the Black Eagle Toronto is back on June 16th, 2025. This social is on
the third Monday of the month!  The social hour starts at 7pm.  This
month features games of Trivia from 8pm to 10pm.  You can win some cash
and great prizes.  Everyone is welcome +19.

Thank you to Bruce for the print donation that will be auctioned off
too.  Please contact us if you would like to make a reserved bid.

Dear Spearhead Family,

We hope this message finds you well and surrounded by love.

It is with heavy hearts that we share some sad news affecting two members of our Spearhead executive. While no words can ease the pain of loss, we want to take a moment to acknowledge their grief and offer our collective support.

Vice President Robert Jeyes is mourning the passing of his beloved partner, Bryan Arsenau. Bryan was a devoted partner and a powerful advocate for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. His contributions extended across several local organizations, including Club 717, the Durham Alliance Association Social Club, and his service as Vice President of Durham Alliance LGBTQ+. His kindness, activism, and unwavering commitment left a lasting impact on many lives.

Additionally, Webmaster Daniel Masis recently experienced the loss of his grandfather. Our thoughts are with Daniel and his family during this difficult time.

In moments like these, the strength of our brotherhood shines brightest. We ask all members of the Spearhead family to keep Robert, Daniel, and their loved ones in your thoughts. If you are able, a kind message or gesture of support goes a long way.

Let us continue to be a community rooted in compassion, unity, and care for one another.

third Monday of the month!  The social hour starts at 7pm.  This month
features games of BINGO from 8pm to 10pm.  You can win some cash and
great prizes.  EVERYONE IS WELCOME 19+.

Purchase a drink at the bar and get two BINGO cards. Additional cards
can be purchased from us for $5 per card. 50% of the money raised from
the card sales goes toward the final jackpot game. There will also be
raffle tickets to purchase as well.

Come on out and socialize with the community.  Looking forward to seeing
you there!

Member Update

It is with profound respect and heartfelt remembrance that we honor the life of Keith Beairsto Campbell, a cherished Past President of Spearhead L.D.S.C., who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 81.​

As a member of Spearhead L.D.S.C., Keith exemplified the values of camaraderie, integrity, and passion that define our organization. His contributions, whether through mentorship, participation in events, or the simple act of being present, enriched our collective experience and strengthened the bonds that unite us.​

In this time of mourning, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his spirit. May we find solace in the memories shared and the legacy he leaves behind.​
