It is with heavy hearts that we share some sad news affecting two members of our Spearhead executive. While no words can ease the pain of loss, we want to take a moment to acknowledge their grief and offer our collective support.
Vice President Robert Jeyes is mourning the passing of his beloved partner, Bryan Arsenau. Bryan was a devoted partner and a powerful advocate for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. His contributions extended across several local organizations, including Club 717, the Durham Alliance Association Social Club, and his service as Vice President of Durham Alliance LGBTQ+. His kindness, activism, and unwavering commitment left a lasting impact on many lives.
Additionally, Webmaster Daniel Masis recently experienced the loss of his grandfather. Our thoughts are with Daniel and his family during this difficult time.
In moments like these, the strength of our brotherhood shines brightest. We ask all members of the Spearhead family to keep Robert, Daniel, and their loved ones in your thoughts. If you are able, a kind message or gesture of support goes a long way.
